The Healthcare Foundation of New Jersey Paid a site visit to the C.B. Community Development Center Food Pantry
Michael and Kevin from The Healthcare Foundation of New Jersey (HCFNJ) paid a site visit to the C.B. Community Development Center to meet with staff and volunteers of the food pantry and dedicate an all-weather pergola purchased through a generous grant from the HCFNJ.
Remarks by Michael Schmidt:
“Today we were honored to join Rev. Joseph Oniyama and the incredible volunteers at the food pantry in East Orange for the opening of the new all-weather pergola. Funded by a grant from HFNJ, the canopy will allow the pantry – which serves over 3,000 people each month – to allow for comfortable distribution year-round, whatever the weather. Thanks to the staff and volunteers for all they do to serve the community.”
